Africa Messi' Scores For Petrojet

Ghanaian midfielder Cofie Bekoe has been nicknamed "Africa's Messi" by the Egyptian media following his recent rich vein of form and was on target in Petrojet's 3-1 league win over El Gouna on Monday. The former Nania FC player has been likened to the Barcelona ace because of his dimuntive mould and jinking dribbles. Bekoe scored Petrojet's second goal just after the half-hour mark after Al Sayed Hamdi's 11th minute opener at home. Hassan Gomaa added the third in the 58th minute and Hussein Ali pulled one back for Gouna in the 73rd minute. Petrojet are second on the league table, four points adrift leaders Al Ahli.
