Kwaku-T Supports Haiti

Former Big Brother Africa house mate and Ghanaian hip hop musician, Kwaku Tutu known in showbiz as Kwaku-T is set to release a single called Go Green to raise funds for Haiti. Go Green is a track he recorded under his B-Earth Project and disclosed in an interview that, It is part of my social consciousness project as a member of the planet. The song was originally recorded for the Forestry Commission of Ghana and it was to bring awareness 'the cries' of the earth when it comes to environmental degradation, pollution etc. The song will be released on the internet this week, and music lovers will be required to pay a fee before downloading with all the proceeds going to support the people of Haiti. Kwaku-T already has a charity organisation called the Kwaku-T Higher-Life Foundation aimed at giving voice to the needy. The foundation is non-racial and he hopes to go the aid of the needy no matter what part of the world they are. The foundation has for some time now been involved in a number of charity projects. It is currently constructing a library for the Liberian community living at the Budumbura camp here in Ghana and Kwaku-T said he hopes to complete that project by the end of the year. Without giving stipulated amount that he hopes to raise, Kwaku-T encouraged Ghanaians and the world in general to buy the song so that he can raise enough for the noble cause. Haiti was hit by a devastating earthquake on January 12. Thousands of lives were lost, rendering many more homeless without food, portable water and medicine. In another development, Kwaku-T is set to leave for Nigeria next week to promote his As I am which is part of his Love Project, which is to promote oneness in Africa. Love is a part of us and I dont see and feel much love in Africa. All I see is the pull him down syndrome' which is not good, he said.
