Mr. Allotey Jacobs, who recently crashed in his attempts to become the National Propaganda Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said that he and members of his Party came into politics to better their lot!
Speaking on Hot Fm, an Accra-based radio station yesterday, Mr. Allotey Jacobs said that like all professions, politicians too come into politics to better their lot, and that it is during elections that they reap their rewards!
Mr. Allotey Jacobs was reacting to a publication in the Chronicle newspaper to the effect that the former Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region had taken away their official vehicles when they were voted out.
Shouting over the voices of his colleague panelists who insisted that politics is about service, Mr. Jacobs said that they were being hypocritical and that politics was also about bettering one�s lot!
