All is set for the second Coca Cola Monthly Medal Open Golf Championship scheduled for the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono, near Tema on Saturday, February 27.
Mr Oswald Amuzu, Competition Secretary for the Celebrity Golf Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Thursday that about 100 amateur golfers throughout the country are expected to participate in the competition which would be sponsored by The Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited.
He said Pierre Coussey, Captain of the Club would lead the Celebrity team which would include Abdul Azziz-Amankwa, Akwasi Opoku, Joe Ampofo, Joe Ohemeng, Theophilus Asampong and Martin Osei.
The competition would be played in accordance with the local rules of the Club and the rules of the Royal Golf Club of St. Andrews, World's Golf governing body.
Five prizes would be awarded in the Men's segment while three would be given out in the Ladies Division.
