Sabahn Quaye To Replace Stephen Appiah

Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has been relieved off his duties as the team coordinator by head coach Kwesi Appiah.
 
Head coach Kwesi Appiah called for the sacking of the 38-year-old after Ghana's poor performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations staged in Egypt.
 
Coach Appiah wrote to the Ghana Football Association  after the 2019 AFCON that he can't work with two of his backroom staffs namely Ibrahim Tanko and Stephen Appiah.
 
Hearts of Oak team manager Sabahn Quaye is set to make a return to the senior national team of Ghana after a two-year absence.
 
Mr. Quaye was replaced by the former Juventus and Fenerbahce star in 2017 after the appointment of Coach Kwesi Appiah by the Ghana FA.
