Sulley Muntari's Ban Reduced

The Federal Court of Justice in Italy on Friday reduced the two-match suspension handed to Inter Milan's Ghana international Sulley Muntari, making him available for the tie against Genoa. Muntari was punished for insulting the referee who handled last week Serie A game against Sampdoria at the San Siro where Inter had two players sent-off in a high tension game. By this new ruling, Muntari will only miss the trip to the Stadio Fruili to play his former club Udinese but is eligible for the home tie against Genoa. Inter's appeal against Jose Mourinho's three-match touchline ban and midfielder Esteban Cambiaso two-match suspension were upheld.
