Apologise To Serwaa Amihere And All Women -Vim Lady To Kapito
Ghanaian broadcast journalist Afia Pokuaa aka Vim Lady has waded into Kapito’s supposed ‘disrespectful compliment ‘ to Serwaa Amihere.
It could be recalled that on the night of 2019 Radio and Television Awards(RTP), Kofi Kapito who was called to announce an award in one of the categories talked about Serwaa Amihere’s huge backside.
Kofi Kapito said Serwaa had a nice backside but the GHOne TV presenter who was not happy with Kofi Kapito for passing such comment took to her twitter handle to express her disappointment at him. She tweeted:
” I had so much respect for Mr. Kofi Kapito. This is a classic case of sexual harassment. I’m appalled by his utterances. This was needless and completely disrespectful!”
Some female journalists and celebrities waded into the issue and also expressed their disgust at Kofi Kapito’s ‘harmless’ comment.
Adom FM’s Vim Lady in an Instagram post has asked that Kofi Kapito apologized to Serwaa Amihere and all the women who were present at the event. She wrote:
” Kofi Capito, this is so unacceptable. I think you owe Serwaa and all the women in the building that night an apology. This is not cool.
