Mahama Is An Epitome Of Corruption... - Mame Yaa Aboagye Fires Back

Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), MameYaa Aboagye has taken a fierce potshot at former President John Mahama, describing him as “frustrated and confused person”.

According to her, the recent "corruption" comment from the former President leaves her no option but to think that he [Mahama] has no credibility so far as matters relating to corruption are concerned.

“When we talk about corruption, His Excellency the former president has no credibility to talk because he himself is an epitome of the word 'corruption',” she said.

NDC Flagbearer and Ex-President, John Dramani Mahama in a recent reply to President Akufo-Addo asked him to stop shielding his corrupt appointees implicated in alleged scandals.

In a press statement to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day, Mr.  Mahama intimated that the President's continuous protection of those appointees is a lost battle against corruption.

He stated that ”the anti-corruption fight will become a major instrument for the achievement of the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" and therefore stressed that “President Akufo-Addo’s practice of 'clearing' corrupt appointees and hampering investigations must stop".

But to Mame Yaa Aboagye; “The man who represents all corruption in Ghana is now talking about solving corruption issues. In his statement he said 'WE', who are the 'WE'? Is it about the Smartys bus branding, SADA, SUBA, GYEEDA, Woyome's questionable judgment debt or Isofoton?" she quizzed.

"Mr. Mahama is truly a frustrated, confused person who was very incompetent in leading his own party not to talk of the whole Ghanaians. What Ghanaians are waiting for is for him  to come up with policies that can better their lives as he claims…Everything about NDC and JDM is fake including their green book. Everything written in it is a scam, fallacy and untrue,” she fumed.

She therefore urged Ghanaians to support President Akufo-Addo to continue his good works.
