Gospel Musician Breaks Record In Switzerland

It always comes as pride for mother Ghana when her sons and daughters produce the best out of them. Ghanaian born Jennifer Chonia popularly known as Jenny C has once again justified herself when it comes to stage performance in Switzerland. In their annual program dubbed Raising Funds for Africa which was organized by the I.C.F International Fellowship where musicians and Reverend ministers come together to pray and raise funds for Africa, she was very phenomenal. The program which was supposed to be a one day program was extended to three days because of the rush in the purchasing of tickets. According to the organizers of the program, tickets were fully sold out in rush because it was one of the biggest shows with high attendance. About 2500 tickets were sold out and yet people demanded more so it forced them to print more tickets. The program started on the20, 22 and 23 December 2009 and Jenny C was privileged to be invited to perform on the show. The ace gospel musician who has an album titled Nyame ben ni performed with the ICF Mass Choir where she leads them to sing the hit song on their album. As she began singing, the hand of the Lord touched the audience and according to eye witnesses, the whole auditorium which was filled to capacity almost turned a prayer center as the whites and the blacks alike shared tears of joy upon feeling the anointing. When Jenny C met the press, she had this to say. "I will say it is the Spirit of God who knew me even before I was born. He has anointed and called me into this end time ministry to sing and give hope to the hopeless. I came not into the gospel music for fame or money but to sing and uplift the faith of Christians who feel like sinners. My style of singing and talent is to always make man know that God loves him irrespective of his condition. The Bible says a gift of a man or woman maketh way for him and brings him or her before great men and women. Read Isaiah 60:1:6 and you will understand why I was invited to such a program. It feels good to be invited as the only Ghanaian born musician because I am an international artiste. It`s just that my own mother land Ghana has not realized it and that explains why because I havent made myself known to them, but in no time I will avail myself to my own people very soon. I always feel great when I am being introduced as a Ghanaian artiste Jenny C. Anytime I go on the stage, I put it in my mind that I am not going to only entertain but to minister to somebody. That is why anytime I mount the stage the power of God controls the place. I was very proud of my country Ghana when my name was mentioned to perform on the stage." When she was asked to give her acknowledgements she said In fact, the biggest thanks goes to the Most High God for this wonderful talent He has given me. I cannot forget my Lady Pastor Lynn Johnson from the USA Michigan she is my Mentor. God bless her for seeing me beyond my gift. To Camero the most finest beat box maker in the whole wild world, ICF Break Dancers, Salsa Dancers Rap Mogul Dancersto and my producer and brother Kobbi Ray of Ghana" Jenny C expressed her gratitude. The Album Nyame ben ni will be launched on the 3rd of April 2010 in Switzerland. Ghanaians should expect her soon after her launching. To her fans, she says that in all circumstances seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all things shall be added unto you Mathew 6:33. The message in the song is for them as it is my testimony too. Praise God Jenny C.
