On-Loan Man City Star Robinho Wants To Stay At Santos

Robinho has revealed that he would like to stay at Santos rather than returning to Manchester City when his loan spell in Brazil ends. Moving back to South America was the right decision to make according to the forward, who became the Premier League's most expensive ever player when he joined the Citizens for 32.5 million in 2008. "It was the right choice," he said according to Sky Sports. "I'm good physically and mentally. "I hope to continue like this until the end of my spell at Santos. "Where I have to be happiest is within the four lines of the pitch, and this is happening. "I intend to continue for long. I hope that the board is already addressing this issue. "You just have to look at my face to see my desire to stay at the club." Robinho spent three years with Santos at the beginning of his career and has notched five goals in eight appearances during his loan spell, which expires on August 4.
