Gospel musician, Great Ampong has dared the Founder of God's Crown Chapel, Reindolf Oduro Gyebi, popularly known as Eagle Prophet to prove to Ghanaians he can indeed heal persons who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Eagle Prophet, in an exclusive interview with Kwasi Aboagye, emphasized that he has the power to heal the virus, claiming that none of his church members can contract COVID-19.

The Prophet told the host on Kwasi Aboagye Live on YouTube that Coronavirus will burn on his body should he come into contact with any person who has tested positive.

He said he is “looking for someone who has the virus’’ stressing “if someone has the virus and the victim is to be brought to the Eagle Prophet, when I shake you; the virus will burn immediately. The germs cannot survive in my body. No, it cannot stand on my body. It has to go…We know where we’re coming from and the God we carry’’.

But in a quick reply, Great Ampong has called the bluff of the Eagle Prophet and pleaded with State authorities to give the Eagle Prophet just one patient with severe case to heal to prove to Ghanaians that indeed the virus cannot survive on his body.

“Just take one person and arrange for him or her to meet him. Just one person with a severe case to meet him…If he’s able to do it, we’re all in this country’’, he said  on Peace FM’s entertainment show on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

He found the statement by the Eagle Prophet ridiculous and wondered why such men of God keep deceiving the masses.

Great Ampong expressed utter disbelief in the Eagle Prophet to heal COVID-19 patients saying “you think we’re joking here. This is not child’s play. This disease that can be transmitted when somebody even holds a metal, you think this is a joke?’’
