Propaganda Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Richard Quashigah, has made a scathing attack on MP for Lower Manya Krobo and a member of the Konadu for 2012 Campaign Team, Michael Teye Nyaunu, calling on him to go and �consult his pillow�.
Mr Quashigah�s outbursts follows reports that the NDC MP is going round the country discrediting the sitting President and leader of the NDC, Prof John Evans Atta Mills.
According to him, Hon Teye Nyaunu is seriously working against the party, trying to convince delegates not to vote for President Mills, so that the NDC can go into opposition, �to teach some people a lesson�.
He claimed the NDC MP has made it impossible for national executives to get in touch with delegates and party executives from his (Nyaunu�s) constituency �to the extent that even when you send messages, they end up in his house.�
Speaking in an interview with X-fm 95.1, Richard Quashigah said it was time Hon Teye Nyaunu �consulted his pillow and reflected on his actions and inactions, because to declare that you would work to ensure the downfall of the party sounds very strange�.
�I do not think any that any well-meaning member of the NDC will want to ensure that the party goes back into opposition. After all, we are in this not for self-gratification; but to ensure that there is meaningful development of our nation. And so if people are so inward-looking and their focus is about themselves, then I think it is most unfortunate�.
