Schalke 04 coach Ralf Rangnick is hoping to have his Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan fit after he missed training on Wednesday because of a toe injury.
The 24-year-old watched Schalke�s final home match of the season from the stands last weekend due to the injury.
Schalke visit Cologne this weekend and Annan remains a doubt.
�Anthony Annan is still sidelined with a foot injury. He banged his little toe and the pain prevented him from putting his boot on,� Rangnick said.
Annan has been influential in midfield at the Veltins Arena since he joined the club in January.
