I Don't Need Xandy To Be Popular; I'm Well Known Already! - Actress' Husband Replies Critics
Actress Xandy Kamel Mensah's husband has responded to critics who think he is unpopular and therefore married Xandy because she is a celebrity.
Mrs. Xandy Kamel Mensah and her husband, Nana Kwaku Mensah Kaninja, a Sports Presenter at Angel TV have since when they got married on Thursday, May 14, 2020 become the cynosure of all eyes.
Some people claim Xandy's husband to ride on her celebrity status, so he can also be enrolled into the institution of famous people in Ghana.
The husband, reacting to the claims on Okay FM's 'Drive Time' with Abeiku Aggrey Santana, says he doesn't need Xandy Kamel to make a name because he is already popular in the Sports fratenity.
"I'm also popular in my own world. I just don't want to be popular like Xandy Kamel or be more popular than her but I'm also popular in my own world. Popular in the sense that I do Sports and many Ghanaians know me. If someone doesn't know me, it's because the person doesn't like Sports. A lot of Ghanaians who follow Sports know me but if I were also acting, maybe I would be at par with her. We're on the same level but I don't act in movies," he said.
