One hundred thousand more Americans will die from coronavirus by September doubling the country's record death toll, experts have claimed. 

Dr. Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, estimates there will be 100,000 further fatalities from Covid-19 in the next three months.  

'I think right now, most Americans are not ready to lock back down, and I completely understand that. I understand people are willing to live alongside this virus. It means that between 800 and 1,000 Americans are going to die every single day,' Jha told CNN yesterday.
