Benefits Of Eating Ghana Rice

Ingredients

• Two cups of Ghana rice
• Five medium sized tomatoes
• Two scotch bonnet pepper
• One medium sized onion, roughly chopped
• Three tablespoons of cooking oil
• One tablesoonp All purpose seasoning  or spice(s) of choice
• Salt to taste
Directions
• Blend  tomatoes and  pepper  in a food processor

• In a medium-sized pot, heat your oil on medium-high heat. Once the oil is heated add the onions  and fry just until they turn golden brown.

• Add the blended tomato mixture and cook for about 15 minutes. Make sure you stir consistently so that the tomato mixture does not burn.

•Turn the heat down to medium, and your spices and salt and let simmer for about five minutes

•Wash rice well and add to the tomato stew. Mix very well till uniform and add water depending on the quantity of stew.

• Cover pot and cook on medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
