NPP Pays Tribute To Late Sam Cudjoe

The New Patriotic Party has expressed shock at the passing of the late Mr. Sam Cudjoe, Ashanti Regional Second Vice-Chairman of the Party.

Mr Cudjoe, who was a key member of the Party since the inception of the Fourth Republican Constitution, died on Friday, June 26, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hopsital, Kumasi, after a short illness.

“He will always be remembered for his selflessness, dedication and commitment to the Party,” Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, also known as ‘Chairman Wontumi’, the Regional NPP Chairman, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA).

The demise of the late Cudjoe, he said, was a big blow to the Party given his experience and knowledge.

Mr. Antwi-Boasiako said: “Ghana’s political fraternity has lost a gem.”
The Regional NPP Chairman assured of the Party’s resolve to support the bereaved family as they went through the difficult moments.

Meanwhile, the Regional Executive of the Party has visited the North Suntreso residence of the late Cudjoe to commiserate with the bereaved family.
