National Zongo Caucus Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Nasiru says the frustration being experienced by citizens under President Akufo-Addo's government has led to the massive turn-up at the various registration centres across the country.
"Massive turn-up at polling stations are warning signs of how aggressive citizens are ready to sack the elephant into the bush in some few months time," he said.
He argued that he do not understand the need for the new voter register since there is nothing new added to the card when compared to the old one.
In an interview on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' newspaper discussion programme, the NDC Communicator urged persons who will test positive for COVID-19 through the process of registration to go to court and test the laws of the land.
"I will urge persons who will fall victim of COVID-19 through the process of obtaining their voters' ID card should go to court since the EC's promises and reasons for the new card has not been met," he affirmed.
