Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Iron and Steel Development Company, Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu has cautioned members of the opposition parties particularly the NDC to leave government with the help of health experts to continue with the COVID-19 fight, since all they can do is to criticize.

Henry Kwabena Kokofu said it was unfortunate that members of the NDC have the best ideas so far as COVID-19 issues are concerned, of which they much appreciate their claims, but pleads with them to leave the government and medical experts to do their work.

"Thank you for your suggestions, we appreciate them but the unfortunate thing is that you are not the ones in-charge so leave them to do their work," Kokofu to the NDC.

The Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region stressed that every individual must exhibit the duties of a responsible citizen wherever they find themselves to curb the spread of the pandemic which is currently a problem to our nation.

" . . We must be each others checker to comply with the precautionary measures that could prevent the spread of the disease, the authorities in-charge alone cannot be everywhere in making sure the right thing is done. The truth is that we are all at risk and must be watchful," he said.

Mr. Kokofu praised government for its hard work each day to combat the COVID-19 spread in the country.
