The NDC MP for Lower Manya and campaign chairman for Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Hon. Michael Teye Nyaunu has re-affirmed his confidence in the former first lady as the best person to lead the NDC for victory in the 2012 presidential election.
He was speaking to journalists at parliament house after adjournment of sitting today. Hon. Nyaunu said his decision to support Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings should not be misconstrued as a sign of bitterness against President John Evans Atta Mills for not giving him (Hon Nyaunu) any Ministerial appointment.
He said it is not possible for all NDC members to be given ministerial appointment at the same time. Hon Nyaunu said he has been a strong believer in the ideology of the NDC since its formation and even during the revolutionary era.
