I'm Very Proud Of You; Don't Stop . . . Go Higher! - Maame Dokono Lauds Shatta Wale

Veteran actress and broadcaster, Grace Omaboe a.k.a Maame Dokono says she is proud of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and his achievements in the music industry.

Maame Dokono, speaking on Shatta Wale's historic collaboration with American singer Beyoncé, applauded the hard work of the dancehall King.

Shatta Wale has made history in Ghana's music for being featured by Beyoncé on her song 'Already' and her 'Black is King' movie.

Maame Dokono, who was the host of storytelling TV show dubbed "By The Fire Side", disclosed that Shatta Wale was one of the child actors on the show.

According to her, she is very happy that a child she once raised has grown to become an African and global icon.

In an interview with host Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM's 'Entertainment Review', Maame Dokono said; ''I'm very proud of him . . . All Ghanaians are very proud of him". 

She urged Shatta Wale to keep soaring higher, "don't stop there. Go on until we can't have you!".
