FIPAG Suspends Tracey Boakye Indefinitely

The Film Producers' Association of Ghana (FIPAG) has suspended actress Tracey Boakye over her feud with singer Mzbel.

The film producers labeled Tracey's behaviour as an affront to Ghanaian culture, traditions and ethics.

They also held that her exchanges with Mzbel are an offence to the sensibilities of Ghanaians, hence stressing their sanction takes an immediate effect.

"The Film Producers' Association of Ghana (FIPAG) finds their actions very regrettable especially that of Miss Tracey Boakye, who happens to be an actress and a Film Producer and therefore supposed to serve as a role model . . . In view of this, FIPAG has immediately suspended Miss Tracey Boakye indefinitely. She is not supposed take part in any of activities during this period until the situation is reviewed."

The FIPAG also apologized to the general public and Tracey's baby daddy for her behaviour.

''The Film FIPAG wishes to render an unqualified apology to the general public and man involved for her behaviour as that display of character does represent what the film industry stands for or wishes to propagate. We wish that Ghanaians will find a space in their hearts to forgive her," FIPAG President said in a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com.
