Gospel musician, Brother Sammy has accused his colleague musician turned Pastor, Cecilia Marfo, of causing his unpopularity and gradual downfall.

In an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM's "Best Entertainment", a pained Brother Sammy stated that Cecilia Marfo orchestrated a move so that she will paint him black and make people think he uses voodoo powers, in local parlance referred to as ''juju'', to sing his songs.

It could be recalled that about two years ago, Cecilia Marfo invited Brother Sammy to her gospel programme held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, but the unexpected happened when Brother Sammy and his team got to the venue.

Brother Sammy, who was well dressed and poised to lead the believers gathered at the event into the throne room of God, was met with some series of slaps from Cecilia Marfo and doused with water over her claims that Brother Sammy was being used by an ''evil spirit''.

According to the musician, since Cecilia Marfo put up a show, his fans and following has reduced drastically and he has almost become a shadow of his former self.

Brother Sammy stated emphatically that the incident where Cecilia Marfo assaulted him in public was all a grand scheme by Cecilia to destroy his music career and ministry saying ''because we all sing worship songs, she wanted to paint mine black so that people will not follow me again''.
