I Can't Confirm Nor Deny It Was Rape, But What Prophet Nigel Did To Me Was 'Illegal' - Mzbel

Ghanaian singer, Mzbel, real name Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, has given a vivid account of what transpired between her and the General Overseer of True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, which has caused her so much pains.

It is by now a known fact and a public knowledge that Mzbel and Prophet Nigel were once friends and that the two were in speaking terms until something happened causing the singer to distance herself from the Prophet.

It is also in the public domain that the Prophet raped Mzbel but since it is unconfirmed and Mzbel has chosen to keep her lips sealed, it remains purely allegations.

However, Mzbel, in an interview on Peace FM's 'Entertainment Review' on Saturday, shared the truth about what Prophet Nigel actually did to her.

According to her, she was invited by the Prophet around midnight (12 or 1 am) to come to his church.

She revealed that since it was already deep in the night and she didn't expect a call from the Prophet, she was in her night gown already when the call came but immediately put on a robe over the night gown to see Prophet Nigel who made it sound like it was an urgent need for her to be at his office.

She expounded that, upon reaching the church, Prophet Nigel directed one of his church boys to pick her up and they went to his office but the guy left the two of them alone with each other.

Although some lady also came to serve her water to drink, Mzbel remembers the lady also left the office and it was when everybody had left that the man of God decided to have a ''selfie'' with her sexy body but she became extremely angered by his request.

To her, it was very childish of Prophet Nigel to have picked his phone to snap pictures of the two together in the office with her kind of dressing and the unfavourable time in the day.

After many attempts, the Prophet succeeded in taking pictures but the singer angrily bounced out of the office and went home, Mzbel told host Akwasi Aboagye on the entertainment programme.

She stressed that there was no sexual intercourse in the office but a certain illegal activity went on when she met the Prophet again after that shameful experience in his office.

Although she didn't say much about why she agreed to meet the Prophet again, she however stated emphatically that the subsequent moment she and Prophet Nigel met, ''he did something illegal to me. I wanted to take him on but some leaders intervened and he has compensated me. Though he didn't give me the money directly, at least it was paid and I have decided not to say the specific illegal thing he did to me. It is just because of the leaders who spoke to me. I respect them, so I don't want to go into specifics but all I can say is what he did was illegal and could have landed him in big trouble'.

At this point, no one can confirm whether she was raped by the Prophet or not but what is true is what the Prophet did was illegal and that is confirmed by Mzbel.
