Izzukiafrica: The Global Movement Set To Inspire A Whole New Exciting Africa

Africa has for long endured the world telling its stories instead of telling it herself.

For decades or even centuries, the continent has been associated with all sort of negative news from poverty, political instability to lack of civilisation among others.

Although these challenges exist everywhere in the world, more attention is given to Africa’s predicaments while most of the great things about the continent are ignored.

Various platforms both on the continent and in the diaspora have tried to change this narrative by telling different versions of the African story but a lot is still required to totally eliminate this stereotype.

In a press release to unveil the platform, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Izzukiafrica Group, Mr. Ibrahim Dekano Abdulai explained; "Izzukiafrica is a Global Pan-African movement with a common goal of uniting Africans and inspiring the rest of the world through authentic African content and experiences. We pride ourselves to be the spark in the heart of Africa by showcasing the uniqueness of Africa like no one else and projecting the power of a united front for prosperity for all Africans and the world at large.''

He continued; "It has taken us a good amount of time and effort but I am very proud of what our team has achieved with this great initiative. We created Izzukiafrica to redefine new media in Africa and offer a global community of Africans and all people of African descent in Africa, the diaspora and all over the world an opportunity to reconnect with the motherland in a positive way. There is so much exciting stuff Africa has to show the world and Izzukiafrica is all about that. Africa is blessed not only with abundant natural resources but also rich diverse culture, incredible talent and amazing people."
