Drobomanhene Approves 'Four More For Nana'

Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako II, the Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Area in the Bono Region, has endorsed another four-year term for Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo Addo and encouraged his people to vote for him in the December Election.

He said the rehabilitation of the 31.7 kilometre Baafono-Zezera-Adamsu feeder road alone was a justification for the people to retain the Government in power.

Okokyeredom Ako made the call when President Akufo-Addo inspected progress of work on the road at Zezera in the Jaman South District as part of his two-day working visit to the Region.

The chiefs and people gave the President and his entourage, including Ministers of State, Members of Parliament and officials of the New Patriotic Party, a rousing welcome to show their appreciation.

Okokyeredom Ako assured President Akufo-Addo that his people “will not let him down" and appealed to him to provide the Zezera Community along the Ghana-Cote D'Ivoire border with a police station to enhance security.

He appealed to the President to facilitate the completion of the Drobo-Berekum road, which was very dear to the heart of the people.

President Akufo-Addo, on his part, said he was unhappy about the poor communication network in the area and assured the people that government would work on that as soon as possible.

He expressed appreciation to the Omanhene of Drobo for his support to his government and hoped that he would lead his people to vote to retain him in the December 7 polls.

Earlier, Nana Kwasi Amoako Atta, the Minister of Roads and Highways, said government would not hesitate to terminate work of road contractors who delayed in carrying out their duty.
