Leave The Marriage If He Threatens You - Tina Muulikaa Advises Women

Entertainment Pundit, Tina Muulikaa has cautioned women in abusive marriages to stop being charitable to their violent husbands.

A US-based Ghanaian Pastor, Sylvester Ofori, has been arrested and facing first-degree murder with firearm charges after he shot his wife, Barbara Tommey, dead in front of her workplace.

The Pastor, who is said to have been married with the deceased for five years, was seen in a viral video fighting with the deceased's brother before shooting her.

The brother was heard telling the sister he wouldn't stomach the husband's unending assault on her any longer and therefore physically confronted him, managed to defend his sister who had gone to pack up her belongings from her marital home as unconfirmed reports indicate she and the husband had divorced.

The video showed the wife's brother tackling Sylvester and driving him out of the house.

But before the so-called Pastor vacated the house, he left the brother with a threatening note saying ''if I don't kill your sister, then I'm fake''.

Although the brother brought his sister's attention to the threat and decided to report to the Police, in the video, the sister pleaded that the brother stops and called the bluff of the angry husband who later on ambushed her at her workplace and shot her to death.

Touching on this sad news, Tina said on Peace FM's 'Entertainment Review' that there are a lot of women suffering in the hands of their husbands like the late Barbara Tommey did but such women still remain in the abusive marriages all in the name of love.

To Tina, there is no justification to stay in an abusive marriage.

She asked the victims to immediately advise themselves and not wait for their marriage to turn fatal, and also urged unmarried people not to rush and end up in a bad marriage either.

"Leave the marriage if he threatens you . . . The Police won't arrest you if you don't marry. I haven't seen the Police moving about and apprehending people who have not yet married but if you find yourself in a bad marriage, you may lose your life," Tina charged.
