Rabiu Mohammed Secures French Ligue 1 Promotion With Evian TG FC

Ghana youth international Rabiu Mohammed helped Evian Thonon Gaillard FC to secure promotion to the French Ligue 1 on Friday night after a 1-2 win at Stade de Reims. Evian TG stayed on top of the 20-team table on 64 points with one match remaining and will play FC Metz on the final day of competition next week. Mohammed, who joined the club last summer on loan from Udinese, played for 66 minutes as his side came from behind to win at the Stade Auguste Delaune. The skillful midfielder is certain to earn a permanent deal after impressive the technical team. The 21-year-old has struggled for playing time since moving abroad three years ago from Liberty Professionals.
