#Ghanadecides: COUNTDOWN TO ZERO HOUR....Long Lines Characterize Polling Centres

December 7th is finally here. And in a few hours, eligible Ghanaian voters will be casting their ballot in the presidential and parliamentary elections, and decide who gets to be in the Jubilee House or represent them in the august House respectively.

It will be a choice for either change or continuance.

Voting begins at 7 am and ends at 5 pm. In all 17,027,655 voters are expected to vote in about 33,367 polling stations across the country.

Long lines have already started forming at most polling centres, and interestingly stones, chairs, and other items have been used to form the queues.

Even though the election is normally between the two major political parties: the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the biggest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress, 12 political parties will be jostling for the high seat.

There are also 914 Parliamentary candidates vying for 275 seats.
