Ghana Youth Enoch Adu Kofi Wins Danish Cup

Enock Adu Kofi capped a disappointing campaign this season by winning the Danish Cup after Nordsjaelland comprehensively defeated giants FC Midtjylland 3-2 on Sunday evening. The centre-midfielder celebrated his first silverware since joining the club two seasons ago from French side OGC Nice. Swedish international Rawez Lawan opened the scoring for Nordsjaelland on the 16th minute but Mikkel Thygesen restored parity for Midtjylland on the 37th minute. Lawan scored again to put Nordsjaelland in front nine minutes after the break but Thygesen was on hand again to ensure Midtjylland had a chance of winning the trophy with a 71st minute effort. Just when the game was heading for extra-time,Sren Christensen stroke home the winner on the 90th minute mark to win the trophy for Nordsjaelland. The victory has ensured a Uefa Europa League ticket for Nordsjaelland and the former Ghana Under-17 midfielder will be making his second appearance in the competition next season.
