Deputy Communications Director for the ruling NPP, Mame Yaa Aboagye has rallied support for the re-election of John Boadu as General Secretary of the party.

Mame Yaa strongly believes John Boadu has extraordinary leadership qualities that make him the right candidate to hold the office for the second time.

She stated that John Baodu is ''indeed a true leader, a unifier and one who is tried and tested'' stressing “old wine is always the best”.

"I believe the general has proven to be a result-oriented leader who can deliver, an enabler and one who is committed to the future of Ghana and the NPP. His track records are there for us all to see, therefore four more years for him is already assured. There is no two ways or question about that”, she said

Mr. John Boadu has already declared his intention to contest again as the NPP General Secretary when nomination is open.

“I will contest and continue as General Secretary for the NPP because my vision is to see the party break the eight-year governance term so I want to supervise the NPP to a third consecutive victory.

“I would retire from party work after getting a third and final term as General Secretary'', he stated.
