Renowned football stars have arrived in Accra for Wednesday�s Michael Essien Peace Charity Match. Chelsea quartet Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou, Ashley Cole and Florent Malouda touched down at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. They were joined by former Arsenal player Freddie Ljungberg, former Africa and World best player of the Year George Oppong-Weah, Emmanuel Adebayor Ghana defender John Painstil and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie were on board the flight Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has joined his former team mates for the charity match. Chelsea youth defender Daniel Pappoe was also spotted in the pack of players on arrival. An African XI select side will play a World XI select side at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on African Unity Day.
