World Cup Qualifier: ‘Worst Own Goal In History’ - VIDEO

HAITI goalkeeper Josue Duverger made one of the worst blunders 'in history' to gift Canada an own goal in a World Cup qualifier. In Tuesday night's showdown, the Caribbean minnows watched on in shock as the 21-year-old fumbled the ball multiple times before it crossed the line. The score was 0-0 on the night but 1-0 to Canada on aggregate as the second-half began in Illinois.

A ball over the top gave defender Kevin Lafrance plenty of time to roll a simple backpass towards his keeper.

But Duverger miscontrolled the ball to nutmeg himself only yards from his line.
