'You Couldn't Even Manage Your Small Pizza Joint' - Hopeson Adorye 'Fires' Ayariga
A member of the young patriots' group, Hopeson Adorye, has asked the leader and founder of the All People's Convention (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga to be mindful of his utterances against the President and his government.
According to him one cannot lay the blame for everything that goes on in the country whether good or bad at the doorstep of the President.
Speaking on Okay FM's 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he explained that though President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo- Addo is doing everything within his power to ensure a peaceful country and a buoyant economy, some people like Dr. Hassan Ayariga think the President is sleeping on his job.
"I am surprised somebody like Dr. Hassan Ayariga will even say this. He couldn't manage his own pizza joint when he returned to Ghana from Germany.
"Kwame, Hassan Ayariga was a pizza attendant in Germany so he decided to open a joint when he returned to Ghana from Germany, but he couldn't manage it properly leading to its collapse. I and Abu Ramadan were his biggest customers.
"So if you couldn't manage a small pizza joint how much more the whole country, Ghana. some times, I feel we should accord the President with some respect," he added.
APC Founder, Hassan Ayariga has expressed worry over the myriad national issues facing the country.
Speaking about the state of insecurity in the country at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday, 29th June 2021, Hassan Ayariga said the Ministry responsible for National Security has not lived up to expectations.
According to the leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), the situation is at its worst state because, “armed robbers are now attacking at public places in broad daylight. Mobile money operators are being killed on a daily basis. Traders and businessmen are not safe. Police officials themselves are killed like never before. In all these, no person or appointee of the government takes responsibility for the fear and panic Ghanaians are in now."
He alleged that operatives of national security have turned themselves into, "criminal gangs and are criminally attacking citizens in an effort to loot and plunder whatever they can lay their hands on – gold, land, and money.”
Touching on the #FixTheCountry campaign, the 2020 presidential candidate of the APC wondered if it has become a crime to assemble, demonstrate and demand that the government and duty bearers fix the country.
