Kumasi Asante Kotoko had to endure a long wait before finding the target to book their place in the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup competition.
The Porcupine Warriors beat Heart of Lions 3-1 in extra-time on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium to advance from the last eight stage.

Lions however grabbed a consolation with just a minute left on the clock when striker, Gilbert Fiamenyo went clear of the Kotoko backline to beat goalkeeper Isaac Amoako. Kotoko would play the winner of the June 1 quarter-final clash between Wa All Stars and Medeama SC in the semi-finals.
In a related development, Abedi Pele�s Nania FC brushed aside Division One campaigners, D. International 1-0 to pick its semis ticket at the Tema Stadium. They will take on the winner of the Bolga Stars-Chelsea clash scheduled for June 1.
