Paris Saint-Germain 'Increasingly Likely' To Sell Kylian Mbappe To Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain may be left with little choice but to sell Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid after the striker turned down the club's latest big-money contract offer, according to reports in France.

French radio station RMC has reported that PSG made a five-year contract offer to the France striker in a final bid to tempt him to stay but the 22-year-old said no.

The Parisians have been determined to not let the World Cup winning prodigy leave but the latest contract rejection is edging them closer to selling the player.

The RMC report said the new contract PSG offered to Mbappe included an optional sixth year and a significant pay rise but still would have left him as the club's third highest earner behind Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Mbappe's current deal with PSG expires next year, leaving him to depart for Real without a transfer fee.
