The Peoples National Convention (PNC) on Sunday marked its 19th milestone with a call on its members and supporters to rededicate themselves to the development of the party for the 2012 general elections.
In a statement issued to the press in Accra, it said the internal squabbles being experienced in the party were being addressed to ensure more internal democracy.
At the end of it all, the party will come out stronger and more prepared to participate in the 2012 general elections, said the statement signed by Mr Bernard Bama-ame for the Greater Accra Regional Branch of the party.
The PNC renewed its call for a national monument to honour the late President Hilla Limann, who ruled Ghana from 1979-1981 on the ticket Peoples National party (PNP) and later formed the PNC.
The statement hailed all those who assisted in the formation of the party, which, it said, was to create a political platform for the Nkrumaist family and for the common citizens to realise their dreams.
