Ghana Models Awards Secretariat Calls For Support For Miss Ghana 'Monique Agbedekpui'

The Founder of the Ghana Models Awards Jerry Wonder Sampson, has asked all models to throw their weight behind the reigning Miss Ghana Monique Mawulawe Agbedekpui in this year's Miss World Pageant scheduled for Puerto Rico on 16th December, 2021.

He stated that Monique is an embodiment of excellence, discipline and hardwork and therefore, is a role model to many models in Ghana. He was speaking on the need for models to go beyond their boundaries and set new standards of excellence in an interview in Accra.

After winning the award for the Overall Female Runway Model last year, Monique Agbedekpui has sent a strong message of 'being focused' and disciplined in order to achieve success across the modelling community in Ghana.

"Monique is a very humble and intelligent lady. She is what I call the ideal woman; because she is smart and well educated, has an attractive appearance and is ready to adapt to unpredictable situations in order to achieve her goal, and this is the character of many successful people. This is also the main reason why are calling on all models and Ghanaians to support this young lady because, we believe Monique can inspire many Ghanaian female talents to not just becoming great, but becoming great the right way", he said.

The Founder of the Ghana Models Awards Jerry Wonder Sampson, also said that Monique Agbedekpui will put up a good show for Ghana at the Miss World Pageant.

"Personally, I think Monique will do well for Ghana when she gets to Miss World. She is well groomed and talented so I expect a lot from her. However, I hope our tourism bodies would take advantage of this opportunity and market Ghana through this young lady. She deserves to be supported because every Miss Ghana Winner is an automatic ambassador of the nation", he explained.
