VIDEO: Reggie Zippy Breaks Down At His Mother's Funeral

Musicians Reggie Zippy who is one half of music duo, Reggie N Bollie laid his mother to rest over the weekend in a rather touching manner.  

The “Adoma” hitmaker bid his late mother goodbye in a sad and heartbreaking way.  The Ghanaian UK-based artiste had an emotional breakdown from the burial service in the church and through out his mother’s final funeral rite.

The lowest moment for the Singer was at the cemetery, when it was time for his late mother’s mortal remains to be buried. Reggie cried uncontrollably and refused to leave the cemetery.

Reggie who is the only child of his late mother finally decided to leave only on condition that he should be allowed to sing a tribute song for his late mother before she is finally buried at the Gbawe cemetery.

He continued crying throughout the funeral ceremony at St. Magritte Mary Parish at Dansoman in Accra and even at the thanksgiving service at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish also in Dansoman.

Present to sympathise with Reggie was his group mate Bollie, his wife Edith and their 3 kids and colleaques from the creative arts industry including; Stacy Amoateng and her husband Okyeame Quophie, Appietus, A-Plus, Screwface, Ohemaa Woyege, Ephram, Gloria Safo, Lucky Mensah, Kofi Nti, KK Fosu, Abeiku Santan, soccer star Asamoah Gyan among others.
