2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Aduana Stars 3-0 WAFA

Aduana Stars recorded their third straight win of the season following a 3-0 win over WAFA at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park on Saturday.

Former Asante Kotoko captain Emmanuel Gyamfi played one of his best games for the Ogya lads since joining the club on a free transfer.

Bright Adjei had the first chance at goal but failed to direct his shot into the net in the opening minutes of the game

WAFA goalkeeper Osei Kwadwo Bonsu denied Abass Mohammed from scoring with a nice save in the third minute as the Aduana Stars dominated proceedings.

Hafiz Adams scored in the eighth minute after controlling the ball beautifully in the box and placing it far from the reach of the goalkeeper.

Former Asante Kotoko captain Emmanuel Gyamfi was very influential in the build-up to the goal.

Emmanuel Gyamfi scored in the 32nd minute to increase the lead for Aduana Stars. It was the third goal of the season for the former Asante Kotoko captain.

Agyemang Ofori’s strike was saved by Joseph Addo after Justice Torsukye intercepted the ball from the Aduana Stars defender.

The Ogya lads were the better side in the first half.

Emmanuel Gyamfi played a key role in Aduana Stars third goal of the game which was later adjudged to have been an own goal.

Aduana Stars will move to the second position on the league table with 11 points after this win.
