For many parents, the first point of call for a solution to a chronic condition is spiritual. Mostly after diagnosis, the phrase “is anything too hard for the Lord” becomes their mantra.

Is it always so?

Sharing her experience on talklifetv show, renowned autistic mother, Mrs Mary Amoah Kufour recounts some of the weird things she did while in search for spiritual solution to the beautiful Autistic Model Nana Yaa’s condition.

One of such was travelling from Accra to a river near Kintampo on the Techiman Kintampo road to fetch water from the stream before the sun rise.

She told Nana Yaa Konadu that, a pastor gave her a direction to do so the beautiful girl will speak normally. The direction was that, she fetches water from the stream which is in the middle of Ghana for her daughter to drink.

By faith, she set off from Accra to Techiman and then continued to Kintampo where she went to the stream in-between Techiman and Kintampo to fetch the water.
