Group Backs Lawsuit Against Head Pastor Of REPLIB And Others

A group calling itself concerned members in the western region have backed the decision by a former pastor of Ressurection Power and Living Bread Ministries (REPLIB) who has taken legal action at an Accra High Court against the ArchBishop and the Trustees of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International.

The group reminded the General public that in 2018, the Trustees and the Archbishop of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International made unsubstantiated claims against Apostle Paul Anane and accused him of stealing church funds accrued from the rented warehouse belonging to the church.

They described as shocking how highly respectable leaders of the church can stoop so low and openly make wild allegations against their fellow Rev Minister.

Meanwhile, alleged evidence available shows that the said amount realized from the rented warehouse was taken by the same trustees before Apostle Paul Anane was posted to the Western Region. And also, the rented income received during the time of Apostle Paul Anane was used to pay for the very debt that they ignored before the coming of Apostle Paul including the expired lease of the warehouse, which had been duly accounted for.

Despite the number of times ArchBishop Akwesi Asare Bediako denies to have knowledge on this matter, concerned members later realised that the individuals leaders who were actively involved in the act have been promoted by the ArchBishop, to become the members of the Regional Church Council, which is the highest decision making body of the Church. The Concerned Members believe that this action by the ArchBishop and the Trustees of Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministries International against Apostle Paul Anane is a deliberate and calculated attempt to tarnish his image and to remove him from the office in order for them to misuse the funds as before.

The concerned members are therefore calling for Justice and believe the Almighty God will speak through the Court in other for justice to be served and Apostle Paul Anane will be vindicated.
