2021 AFCON: Black Stars Arrive In Ghana

The Black Stars have arrived in Ghana after their disastrous 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Ghana’s contingent including Coach Milovan Rajevac arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) after they were booted out of the campaign by minnows, Comoros.

However, players who ply their trade in England and France including Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Andrew Kyere-Yiadom, Joseph Wollacot, and Kamal Deen Sulemana did not join the team back to Ghana.

The Black Stars suffered a painful 3-2 defeat to Comoros in a match where they needed a win to progress to the next stage.

This would be the time in 16 years the Black Stars exited the Group stage of the biennial continental tourney.

Ghana picked only a point after two defeats to Morocco and Comoros and a draw to Gabon to sit at the bottom of Group C.
