I Don’t Know Where My MP Is Now – NPP Party Executive On Adwoa Safo

Dome-Kwabenya Constituency Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Theophilus Ansah Larbi has stated emphatically that their Member of Parliament for the area,  Sarah Adwoa Safo has gone ‘missing’ for months.

He told NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’ that “I don’t know where my MP is now” –he also claimed that communication with the MP has been unsuccessful.

Sarah Adwoa Safo has been absent from parliament and her constituency for some time now after she was granted an extension of her leave last year by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

However, Theophilus Ansah Larbi, has admitted that the long leave has become a national discourse that is “worrying”.

He also denied claims that Sarah Adwoa Sarfo is demanding some position with the majority in parliament before she returns to the country.

There is no official statement from the party or parliament to that allegation,” he told host, Kwesi Aboagye.
