Use The Party Internal Mechanism To Seek Redress, Not Violence - Evans Nimako Tells NPP

The Director of Elections for the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Evans Nimako, has called for calm in the party as they vote to elect polling station executives as part of electing new executives ahead of the 2024 general elections.

According to Mr. Evans Nimako the national council of the NPP established a committee in every constituency to oversee the elections and its matters to that effect hence anyone who faces any challenges must use the party constitution, rules and regulation to redress their grievances and not violence.

The recent NPP polling station elections has seen some fracas with many complaining of not getting the forms to buy whilst other executives in the party have been blamed of being bias.

However, Mr. Evans Nimako has pleaded with all party faithful to remain calm no matter what and resort to the rules of the party rather than violence.

He spoke to our reporter Pious Baidoo Banson.

Mr. Evans Nimako also urged the committee members to be fair and not bias in their dealings to ensure sanity in the party.

He said the national executives will soon address the few issues happening to ensure peace for the party stand tall.
