Boxer Joseph Agbeko To Be Celebrated For His Contribution To Boxing In Ghana

Ghanaian boxer Joseph Kingkong Agbeko is to be honoured for his contribution to boxing in Ghana and the world on Saturday 19th March at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The organization honouring Joseph Kingkong Agbeko also known as The Fresh King feels he is worth celebrating after winning three world titles for Ghana. A feat no one has attained.

“Its going to be a night of glitz and glamour with good music and a lot to wine and dine as we celebrate a living legend, Joseph Agbeko” the organization said.
Joseph Agbeko expressed his joy to the organisers about how happy he is be honoured come Saturday.

There will be special performances from Mr Drew, Kofi Kinata and many more. Joseph Kingkong Agbeko is a former Commonwealth champion, two time International Boxing Federation (IBF) and a International Boxing Organization (IBO) world Champion. He won Ghana a world title after the nation had gone a decade without a world champion. He is a honouree of the Order of the Volta, Ghana’s highest award, which was awarded him after his winning the IBF title by President John Agyekum Kuffuor.
He has had 38 wins, 28 by way of knockouts with only 5 defeats.
