Fast rising Ghanaian gospel star, LOR is proven beyond doubt that she hasn't come to add to the numbers but rather stand out with her soulful voice and impactful music.

Lor is a new gospel sensation with a promising career and ministry.

The young lady has three EPs making airwaves and in the gospel circles, positively impacting souls everywhere her songs are played and of course, everywhere she goes.

Lor has currently released a hit single titled ''Holy Spirit'' and also prepping to release a new EP this year featuring the legendary gospel musician, KODA and a host of other musicians.



Background

Lor is a brilliant lady and a graduate from Ghana's premier school of journalism - the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ).

She studied Communications Studies at GIJ in 2016.

She received her calling to sing while on campus playing a key role in the campus choir, CCF.

Lor currently works in a startup, Brand E, that deals in branding and packaging as the company's Marketing and Communication Officer.

Discovering her gift, she decided to incorporate gospel music in her journey of life.

Talent

Lor doesn't only sing but is also talented in many other things.

She as well plays an acoustic guitar and keyboard.

Lor disclosed her talent and birth into the gospel ministry in an inteview with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM's ''Best Entertainment'' show Friday morning.

''It's a calling. It's really beyond even what you decide to do. Sometimes, when God gifts you something, you have to also be diligent with it because it's not something given just to be [u know] let it be you but you have to make sure that, like the evangelism we talked about; whatever you have, you have to preach God through that. You have to let people know about Christ through any gift you have'', she stated.

Expounding further, she avowed that her desire to worship her Maker inspired her to learn to strum the guitar and play the keyboard.

Why Gospel?

Lor detailed how she got into the gospel ministry when asked why she didn't use her melodious voice for something else.

She said; ''I think that when God calls, it can be in several ways. It's not all the time that you hear God's voice, like audible voice that do this or that, but there are times that [you] there is this conviction within you, you know, a deep concern about something. It's like your heart is speaking to you, like you feel it within you that this is what I have to do...So, when you see that, you just have to go ahead and then do it.''

She added her passion for gospel music also came about through her indulgence in singing in church and advanced when she got to GIJ where she met her manager.

''So, through that, I realized that, with the diligence and the little things; God also used that to get me to preach his Word through music to the entire world. So, that's how it happened for me. Through the meeting, we discussed how we can make other people to have a feel and experience of this ministry. So, that's how it happened for me.''

Music

Lor has three EPs in volumes with six tracks on each EP and does hymn medley dubbed the ''Intimate Hymn Session''.

She has released some singles -''Only You'', ''Yesu'', ''Grateful''- which are all doing exceptionally well and changing lives.

She is signed on to the Record Label, BEKOFI Creative Hub.

Lor's music is greatly appreciated by notable figures in the gospel arena with the likes of gospel musician Denzel Agyemang Prempeh giving her thumbs-up.

She therefore seized an opportunity during her interview to express her gratitude to the musicians supporting her and all patrons of her music saying ''I'm really grateful to all the artistes in the industry who are holding our hands and supporting us, opening the space up for us to also have this opportunity in the industry''.
