This Man In White Must Go! We're Not Happy!! - Nana Ofori On Calls For Ofori-Atta's Dismissal

Nana Ofori Owusu has appealed to President Nana Akufo-Addo to let Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta go immediately.

Nana Ofori Owusu wondered why the President is still holding on to the Finance Minister despite protests from Members of Parliament of his party, the New Patriotic Party, and many Ghanaians saying they don't like Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta.

He also questioned the President's rationale for allowing Mr. Ofori-Atta to front the IMF deal, claiming he has lost credibility.

The National Chairman of the Progressive People's Party (PPP) found it extremely difficult to understand why the President can't let the Finance Minister, saying "the NPP prides itself that they have the men. So, if they have the men, let those men come and replace this man. Let the men come and replace this man and find ways to move Ghana forward because we are not happy that we are going through what we are going through as a nation".

To him, he is "in 100 percent in support that this man in white, who has deceived us as a people, as a nation; this man in white, the 80 plus say he must go in the majority side. I support that he must go now, now, not later . . . The man must go!"

"We are not happy as a people and nobody is praying for Ghana to go through difficulties that affect us everyday. We want a change while they are in power. They must give us hope and that hope, by the 80 plus MPs, is to sack the Finance Minister," he stressed.

Nana Ofori Owusu expressed his concerns on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme Monday morning.
