Petrol and Diesel Prices Have Decreased, LPG To Go Up – COPEC

The General Secretary for the Chamber of Petroleum Consumers (COPEC), Mr. Duncan Amoah has said that the prices of petrol and diesel have decreased while LPG has shoot up.

Speaking with Peace FM News, he explained that the international benchmark for LPG has seen a decrease in the prices of diesel and petrol but he can’t say the same for LPG since it is still on the rise.

According to him this reduction is due to the Bank of Ghana's intervention in the international market which has made availability and supply of dollars in the fuel market.

Mr. Duncan Amoah made known that petrol has been reduced by 1 cedi, whereas diesel will reduce by 3 cedis.

He added that even though the reduction is not much it is for a good course.

However, the prices of the LPG will increase because it is still increasing on the international Market
