NDC Primary May Not End PeacefullyAgent Provocateurs Contracted - Kweku Baako

Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Malik Kweku Baako Jnr, has revealed that some individuals within the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) are planning to cause mayhem at the partys July 8 Congress. According to him, the NDCs Sunyani congress is likely to be very messy if the party does not put in place adequate security measures to nib in the bud disruptive activities being planned by some fanatics of the party. Though he claims the information is from a reliable source, the seasoned journalist however, stressed that he is yet to verify it. The NDC party has been going through a lot of turmoil since former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings announced her bid to contest incumbent president, Professor Mills for the partys flagbearership race, as witnessed in the occasional public skirmishes between Friends Of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings (FONKAR) and their counterparts supporting President John Evans Atta Mills - Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME). Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FMs Kokrokoo Morning Show, Kweku Baako whose piece of information was corroborated by a co-panelist, the Central Regional Communications Director of the NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, alleged that a faction in the ruling party had contracted some Agent Provocateurs to cause confusion at the congress grounds for the sole purpose of disrupting the vote counting process. He therefore warned the leadership of the NDC to take note and prepare well in case of any eventuality I have heard some news that the Sunyani congress will be messy. Somebody somewhere is planning something sinisterto disrupt the congress during the counting process and that is what resulted in the statement the inevitable by Rawlings and the open invitation thrown to all the people who attended the June 4 rally. I have not verified the information but if this happens, it will create a very bad image for Ghana so they have to be very careful, he revealed. According to him, this will leave the declaration of the results and announcement of a possible winner hanging.
